I watched part of the TEDTalk when Dr. Hassan talked about going through a deprogramming. I wish members of OI would allow themselves to be subject to a deprogramming—even if merely to prove the uprightness and infallibility of OI (in such a scenario, the deprogramming would have no influence over them). I believe their cultural construct would tumble like a house of cards. While terrifying and emotionally/mentally devastating,  they could finally know a reality that was worth demolishing the facade they clung to.
